| How to Get Involved - Read the Summary Description of the San Antonio Association of Churches.
- Share the vision of the San Antonio Association of Churches with your church or ministry board of directors and its members. The San Antonio Association of Churches is not just for church or ministry leaders, but the vision of the association involves the whole body of Christ. If our city is to be impacted by the Lord then the whole body of Christ must become involved and come into a place of unity, love and cooperation so that we can function together effectively.
- Remove the page entitled Application, fill it out and mail it to the address on the application along with your $25.00 application fee.
- Once your application has been received and processed your church or ministry name will be added to the web site of the San Antonio Association of Churches with a web link to your own church or ministry
web site. Not only will your organization be identified as an active part of the association, but also it will put others in touch with you to learn about your individual ministry. This will help us to connect with each other and
better utilize the gifts, talents and resources that God has placed in our midst. - Once your application has been received you can begin to receive information from the association concerning important things that your church or ministry needs to connect with or be involved in that may be taking place in our city.
- Once your application has been received we can begin to coordinate major events and significant meetings so that there is not as much duplication of effort and not as many multiple events taking place in our city at the same time.
- Once your application has been received you will be notified of upcoming general meetings of the association where information and strategic plans will be shared and discussed. The board of directors will
schedule these meetings on an as needed basis. During the interim between these general meetings, you will be kept fully informed by e-mail or other means of communication of important matters concerning the
association. - Once your application has been received you will be given the opportunity to financially support the work of the association. In the coming days we will be involved together in some very significant events that will require wide spread financial support. The board of directors of the association may from time to time request major financial support from its members in order to accomplish the mandates that God may lay upon us as an association to accomplish. These requests may come to you in the form of suggested financial goals that you will be asked to consider. The association will not be assessing dues or making mandatory financial requirements upon you or your ministry. What you give to the association must be what God has placed upon your heart to give. The association will make the needs known, but you must pray and seek God concerning how you should respond and what you are to give.
